5 compelling reasons for using our AI enhanced CJ Assessment package
*
Comparative Judgement
Comparative judgement is a process where judges compare two responses and decide which is better. Research has shown the process to be as reliable as double marking, but much quicker.
*
Human in the Loop
You can choose your preferred blend of human and AI judging. We recommend 10% human judgements and 90% AI, but it's up to you. If you are pushed for time, you can go for 100% AI marking. If you want more teacher involvement, that's fine too. If you go with our recommended model of 10% human, every piece of student writing will be seen twice by a human and 18 times by AI. We estimate this will take just 10-15 minutes per teacher.
*
Psychometric validation
Many other AI marking solutions simply ask the AI for a grade, which means you have no way of knowing whether its grades are right or wrong without going through every essay yourself and remarking them all! Our system validates the AI judgements using a sample of human judgements and automatically flags up the biggest disagreements.
*
Powerful statistics
When all the judgements are complete, we'll combine them together using our powerful statistical model and link the results to our existing nationally-standardised scale of writing which is based on assessments of nearly 3 million pieces of student writing. You'll get a scaled score, a GCSE grade indicator and a writing age for every student.
*
Personalised feedback
As well as the AI judging, we'll provide you with automated AI teacher reports that identify key writing features. Every student will get a personalised report with student-friendly direct AI feedback and quizzes that have been created and selected by us. You can choose to leave audio comments on each piece of writing when you judge, which we will combine into written feedback for the student.
Our Year 9 project begins on Tuesday May 6. Places are free but limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
